I have interests outside magic.  They keep me going on the quiet days, when no one phones, or I've gone for a walk and forgotten where I live.

I've written for children's magazines, television and radio.   I specialise in comedy and have written gags for comedians such as Freddie Starr, Roy Hudd and June Whitfield.  My work has been broadcast on Radio 2, Radio 4, the World Service, BBC1, ITV1, S4C and as far afield as Germany.  (For more information, click Here.)

I've performed magic live on BBC Radio Newcastle and have appeared on BBC's Look North.

I featured in the media in 2006, after being invited to Kolkata, India, where I lectured to local magicians, and performed in schools, private homes and on stage before an audience of almost 1200 people.  I featured again in 2008, following my admission to the Magic Circle.
